Anant Ambani married his long-time girlfriend, Radhika Merchant, pharma heiress, after months of extravagant pre-wedding festivities that took them and their guests around the world.
The event was attended by an almost impossibly illustrious guest list including Bollywood A-Listers, politicians from around the country and world, business tycoons, Hollywood stars and more.
Touted to be the ‘Windsors of India’, the wedding has even garnered the attention of international media and the world audience. Hosted at the family owned Jio World Centre and the family home, Antilla – the event was a smashing hit that perfectly capped off months of anticipation among fans.
The three-day wedding is set to last all weekend, with the Hindu marriage ceremony being concluded last night.

For Anant-Radhika’s wedding and pre-wedding festivities, we saw performances by Justin Beiber, Rihanna, Rema and more. Rihanna sang her first full-length concert since 2016 at the pre-wedding party in March. The family has, of course, not released a statement about their spending spanning the many months of wedding celebrations. However, media and fan speculation points towards millions of dollars being paid to the musical performers who flew across the world for a gig and then, of course, the opulence of their venues, dresses, invitation cards, and overall display of wealth means no expense was spared to see their son getting married. The Guardian has put the price tag at around $600 million for the four months of pre-wedding festivities plus the wedding.
