Apple To Start Iphone 15 Production & Distribution From India

Apple will reportedly manufacture its upcoming iPhone 15 models in India and ship the devices from the country for the first time.

The tech giant already manufactures its iPhones and AirPods in India, but Apple is now planning to ship iPhone 15 models from India upon the device’s launch, according to Bloomberg.

The move suggests that the tech giant is gradually increasing its production in India and diversifying its supply chain away from China.

This could imply that the price of the device will be cheaper than iPhone 14 within the country, but more clarity is expected in the coming months once the iPhone 15 series launches in September.
