Netflix’s US$850 Million Purchase

American streaming company Netflix has purchased a former Army base in New Jersey to create a production studio.

They have reportedly spent US$850 million on the plot and it is said to become the largest production facility in the world.

They have said the facility should house 12 sound stages, ancillary production spaces, and a lot more.

Netflix’s Director Rajiv Dalal says, “This will be a key focal point for us and it will be our East Coast production hub.”

Netflix has estimated that it should generate between US$7.4 billion and US$8.9 billion in output over the next 20 years for production and construction with regards to this new plot.
