India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar took out the time to visit the Sydney Cricket Ground while on an official trip in Australia.
Later, he tweeted, “Cricket is one of the many bonds that connect India & Australia. Took time out to visit scg and meet a living legend, Steve Waugh. Appreciated his warm sentiments for India, both on cricket & otherwise.”
Waugh is also known for his philanthropic work in the country and has a great relationship with our cricket legend, Tendulkar. It’s lovely to see how sport connects people across the globe.
