The launch marks the next chapter of India’s leading national student design competition, hosted by ‘Society Interiors & Design’ and powered by GreatWhite Electricals. The logo was unveiled in the presence of Chief Guest Hon’ble Minister Shri Ashish Shelar and GreatWhite Electricals GM Girish Pillay and CEO Dinesh Aggarwal.
Magnate Publishing Founder Ashok Dhamankar; Swati Balgi, Consulting Editor, ‘Society Interiors & Design’; Chief Guest Hon’ble Minister Shri Ashish Shelar, Minister of Information Technology and Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra; and GreatWhite Electricals GM Girish Pillay and CEO Dinesh Aggarwal unveiled the logo of the Society Interiors Design Competition & Awards (SIDCA) 2027 powered by GreatWhite Electricals, at a special media event at Sahara Star, Mumbai.
The event brought together prominent names from the worlds of real estate, architecture and design, including Ar Hiten Sethi, Jitendra Mehta of JVM Spaces, Ketan Sheth of Goldmine Project Consultant and several other industry achievers. Also present were Team Magnate — Jayshree Dhamankar, Sunil Khavnekar, Shivendra Parihar and Andrea CostaBir, Chief Editor, ‘Society Achievers’.
Instituted in 2003 by ‘Society Interiors & Design’, SIDCA has spent more than two decades identifying and nurturing promising young talent in architecture and design. The competition gives students an opportunity to engage with leading professionals, learn from an expert jury and showcase their creativity to the industry, with winning students also gaining internship opportunities with leading architecture and design firms.
The evening was hosted by Simran Ahuja, with Sahara Star as Hospitality Partner and Bright Outdoor Media and Naarad PR & Image Strategists as media partners.
