Bipasha Basu Shares Her Daughter’s ‘Daak Naam’

The renowned tradition of Bengalis giving their children adorable names, known as “daak naam,” continues with Bollywood!

Actress Bipasha Basu, who became a mother last year alongside her husband Karan Singh Grover, has been sharing delightful moments of her precious daughter Devi Basu Singh Grover on social media since!

And now Bipasha has revealed her daughter’s nickname ‘Mishti’ which translates to “sweet” in Bengali. This name was lovingly given by her grandmother, Mamta Basu, adding an authentic Bengali touch to her granddaughter’s identity.

“Devi’s daak naam (pet name) is Mishti. Named by her favorite Mumu Ma. Suits her perfectly! 😊 The Bong girl got her daak naam,” shared the actress.
