Road Map To Peace

Great way to start 2023…

Our External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has voiced deep concern about the Russia-Ukraine conflict and has urged the parties to return to dialogue and diplomacy.

He quoted PM Modi, who said, “We are no longer in the war era and cannot solve issues through violence.” India has maintained its position “on the side of peace” and believes in negotiating that peace.

In his speech, S. Jaishankar also spoke about the different approach India is taking with the Indo-China border conflict, where the two countries have had 17 rounds of talks to solve the stand-off. India has also improved its relationship with Bangladesh through successful negotiations and better border agreements.
