Power, glamour and tradition converged as Disha Sharma, daughter of TV veteran Rajat Sharma, tied the knot with MJ Sudarshan.
Disha Sharma, daughter of television veteran Rajat Sharma, married MJ Sudarshan on April 4, 2026 in a grand Delhi ceremony that brought together an extraordinary cross-section of political leaders, cultural figures and entertainment icons.

Hosted by Rajat Sharma and his wife Ritu Dhawan, the celebrations balanced scale with warmth, drawing a distinguished guest list that included Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who personally blessed the couple. Among the Union Cabinet Ministers in attendance were Rajnath Singh, S Jaishankar, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Giriraj Singh, Chirag Paswan, Rajyavardhan Rathore and Manohar Lal Khattar, along with BJP president Nitin Nabin.

Chief Ministers of different states – including Yogi Adityanath, Devendra Fadnavis, Pushkar Singh Dhami, Mohan Yadav and Omar Abdullah – were present, alongside senior administrators including Taranjit Sandhu, Manoj Sinha and VK Saxena.

Bollywood’s biggest names added star power, with Salman Khan attending alongside Arpita Khan Sharma and Aayush Sharma, while Shah Rukh Khan arrived with Pooja Dadlani. The guest list further featured Jaya Bachchan, Jackie Shroff and Gulshan Grover, alongside filmmaker Boney Kapoor.


The pre-wedding festivities were no less vibrant. Home Minister Amit Shah, Kiren Rijiju, Anupam Kher, Jay Shah, Smriti Irani, cricketers Shikhar Dhawan and Kapil Dev were spotted at the haldi and sangeet ceremonies.


Among other prominent attendees were Ajit Doval, Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, Gautam Adani, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Shahnawaz Hussain, Anurag Thakur, Priyanka Chaturvedi, Mehbooba Mufti and Sachin Pilot, alongside spiritual leaders Swami Ramdev and Dhirendra Krishna Shastri.
