Ricky Ponting couldn’t hide his frustration as Delhi Capitals failed to learn from their mistakes, resulting in their fourth consecutive loss of the season. Mumbai Indians bowled out Capitals for 172, with Piyush Chawla and Jason Behrendorff taking three wickets each.

Mumbai’s openers Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan smashed boundaries in the PowerPlay, setting up the chase. Rohit Sharma’s return to form with a brilliant 65 off 45 balls sealed the victory for Mumbai Indians.
