Road to recovery for KL Rahul

Indian cricketer KL Rahul has successfully undergone surgery on his right thigh, as confirmed by the right-handed batsman himself late last evening!

The captain of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) sustained the injury during an IPL match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, ruling him out for the rest of the IPL and the WTC final.

Rahul took to Instagram to share the good news with his fans, stating that his surgery went well. The 31-year-old will now begin his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy. Ishan Kishan has been selected as his replacement in the WTC final squad by the All-India Senior Selection Committee.
