This is a first for Indian cinema! The Golden Globes are hosted annually by the Hollywood Foreign Press in order to celebrate excellence in film and television. Here’s a rundown on some of the other notable wins at this year’s awards.
Austin Butler, Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett, Ke Huy Quan, Zendaya, Colin Farrell, Evan Peters, Jennifer Coolidge and Quinta Brunson took home awards in their respective categories.
“The Banshees of Inisherin” won the Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and “The Fabelmans” took away Best Motion Picture – Drama.
Television shows “House of the Dragon” and “The White Lotus: Sicily” won the Golden Globe for best television series drama and best limited TV series respectively.
