These analytics show a massive change in the economic trend of the country. India is now said to be the third-highest country housing billionaire population in the whole world. Many say this is largely an aftermath of the pandemic wherein a very ‘you only live once’ like attitude has given rise to this kind of indulgence.
It has also been said that both demand and disposable income have been on a rapid increase majorly due to start-up owners and young professionals. It is estimated that as many as 25,000 luxury vehicles were sold in the first nine months of the year. In comparison with the previous year, that would mean an increase of 32%. This includes the purchase of sports cars, luxury saloons, electric vehicles etc. “We are poised to record best-ever sales this year,” said Santosh Iyer, VP, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes Benz India.
While Mercedesbenz has already sold out its latest EV EQS for the year, Lamborghini is currently taking bookings for SUV #Urus for 2023.
