Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch, 92, is set to tie the knot for the fifth time!

In an exclusive interview with the ‘New York Post’, Murdoch announced his engagement to Ann Lesley Smith, a former police chaplain and widow of American country singer and media executive Chester Smith.

Despite being nervous about falling in love again, Murdoch believed Smith would be his last love. “I’m happy!” he exclaimed.

Murdoch’s last marriage to model Jerry Hall ended last year after six years of marriage.

The couple met last year at an event hosted by Murdoch at his California vineyard and soon decided to spend “the second half of our lives together.” The wedding is scheduled for this summer, and they plan to divide their time between the United States and Britain.

With a net worth of over US$20 billion and an extensive media empire that includes ‘The Wall Street Journal’ and Fox News, Murdoch is a well-known figure in the media industry.

He has six children from his previous marriages, the first being with Patricia Booker, an Australian flight attendant, whom he divorced in the late 1960s.
